Panel Prop was originally set up by two experienced crane operators in the early 1990’s who saw an opportunity to provide the construction industry with a higher level of professionalism and service for the propping of precast concrete and structural steel.
Over the last 30 years the business has continued to go from strength to strength and we have provided service and equipment on many thousands of jobs across the country, with customers ranging from major national commercial constructors through to small local builders.
Our customers highly value the expertise the team brings to each job. Key members of the management team have management backgrounds in cranage and precast panel erection and this has led to Panel Prop being capable of working closely with our customers to find innovative ways to save time and cost on jobs whilst ensuring that safety remains paramount.
In 2019 Panel Prop introduced the Earthbolt ground anchoring system to New Zealand. This product has been well received by the construction industry and quickly proved it’s worth by providing an efficient system for anchoring of props by a reusable ground screw. This system is especially popular because it is fast to install, sustainable, and quick to remove at the end of a project. Time is money on a construction project, but sustainability is now also a key consideration within the building industry.
In 2022 the name of the business was changed to Panel Prop and Earthbolt Limited to better reflect the services offered.
As the business continues to grow so has the capability of the management team and specialist skills in project management, logistics, health and safety, business planning, technology and finance have been added to ensure we continue to meet the needs of a changing market. We are constantly looking at ways to better serve our customers.
